Not sure what that has to do with virgin tv/picturebox but I am interested to know more, like where are these people who say they are expecting higher speeds for less money, as well as who is judging their broadband to be inferior?

Having left virgin myself and with the new provider got twice the upload speed, 10 times the download speed, a superior broadband connection with no jitter or packet loss, it shows you can pay the same and get better!

Glad you are happy.Again I ask the question why do you feel the need to defend your choice on a forum that is about a supplier you no longer have. This is not a dig I really wonder why . I go to forums about cars I have - I don't visit the ones about cars I no longer own. Unless I was thinking of getting one again. I somehow doubt that you are about to change again.:)

If you moved house and there was no Virgin cable broadband in the area so had to choose another provider, would you still come and visit this forum?

Also some would prefer more honest replies to get a better understanding of a topic rather than a biased one sided view. The kind of people who watch Fox news and Al-Jazeera so they get a better overall picture rather than one sided propaganda.

Yeah, was just trying to show 2 extremes and using the BBC as an example just wouldnt have worked, even though they can be one sided too.

Don't waste your time worrying about what he has to say. He doesn't like non-Virgin customers visiting this forum. If you don't have Virgin, you are seemingly not allowed to share your views or have an opinion. He was stalking me from thread to thread a few weeks back. Expect the same treatment. Just add him to your ignore list, makes visiting here so much more fun.

Looks like there are more Sky customers on here than cable customers on here nowadays though, odd that. I notice that sky forums don't appear to have ex cable customers posting comments on those sites. Looks like some people can cut the chord and move on and some can't

Personally, I welcome people from any provider on here, providing they are objective. Comparing services is good.

But sadly, Qtx isn't objective in his views. He seems to have a grudge against VM and only seems interested in posting,"My service is bigger and better than yours" type comments, no matter what aspect of the service we are discussing. Clearly, no one service is best at everything.

Therefore, in my view, his posts are pretty much irrelevant to the discussion.

Isn't this a forum for Virgin TV services?

Or maybe some people enjoy Cable Forum as a whole, including the relationships they've built up with other users over the years. Are you suggesting that if someone moves from Virgin to SKY, they should no longer post here?

This thread is, but the overall forum isn't. Would you like to see SKY customers staying away from this thread?

Most of the Sky users who post on here are trusted and generally unbiased in their opinions and thats fine by me and many others but there are the occassional posters who seem hellbent in promoting a anti Virgin propaganda but the thing is most of us are a intelligent lot who can see through that and dismiss it accordingly.:)
