exactly ,it's usually the best way to ensure re-election and hide billions of debt the treasury want to "make disappear".The armed service generals love it because it gives them purpose and ensures they get some new kit ,the public love it because we get something to be all patriotic over and rant at foreigners ,red tops love it because they get to make us rant at foreigners ,in short everyones a winner apart from the soldiers who have to go fight of course ........but when has that ever stopped us ;)

We're not going to fight. We won't hand over the islands, and they don't have the means to take it by force. Everything else is just noise. Cristina Fernandez de Whatever can whine to the UN, whine in adverts, whine in the press as much as she likes, and The Sun can pull all the PR stunts they wish, it's all noise.

Point out to this argie bitch that the one ship we have there can wipe out their entire air force and navy, at the press of a button, and leave room for the army.
