Can I just point out that ntl stated the upgrades would begin today - thats begin, not begin and end today. Give it a couple of days - and stop ringing up CS clogging the lines because of your impatience.

Forget my last question, just applied the upgrade manually!!

WoW, not a lot of improvement overall :(

I did it via the web, but a few of my friends got it automatically.

To be fair orangebird, CS havent been clogged up today as far as I'm concerned. I've phoned three times and got through instantly, and by the sounds of it most people have.

Still, doesnt help when the indian call centre doesnt know what your on about and doesnt want to help.

I think we all know that if we don't badger them, nothing will happen. CS are there whenever us customers need them for whatever reason.

*points and laughs at you*

1st 128K took 360 ms = 364089 Bytes/sec = approx 3029 kbits/sec
2nd 128K took 361 ms = 363080 Bytes/sec = approx 3021 kbits/sec
3rd 128K took 350 ms = 374491 Bytes/sec = approx 3116 kbits/sec
4th 128K took 351 ms = 373425 Bytes/sec = approx 3107 kbits/sec

These results appear to be rather fast: maybe this page was in the browser cache.

Nope :D
