The way it was said could mean it is now ready and just needs to be put on the TiVo boxes.

Also someone else said red button will come with the update in Q1 2012

http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/...ht/true#M36542

We know the Q1 2012 is in January going by what someone was told by Virgin techinal.
http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/35...-post6215.html

No it wasn't at all.

Also there is no update in January or Q1 2012. The November update to 15.2 has been coded with support for red button services but as yet they haven't been switched on. It has been mentioned in this thread and others. All you are doing is confusing matters with repeated info posted in such away that it makes no sense to anyone.

I just have one question on live events, once you have purchased an event does it appear on channel 555 when the programme is about to start? The reason why I ask is there is no channel 0 on TiVo and at present this channel is saying I am not subscribed to it please ring 150:confused:

To watch the event, go to Home->On Demand->More On Demand->Live Events->Your Rentals. Channel 555 is a left-over from the days when TiVo couldn't do pay-per-view through the menus, and is no longer needed.

I thought because of his inability to post for a week he would have been paying more attention to updates and news. I know I have.

No, what is rude is you posting incoherent and muddled posts, and expecting others to decipher them.

If you want to get a message across, it needs to be clear and concise.

Wow. Back less than a day and already he's derailing threads.

Anyway, back on topic. I must admit, apart from the new YouTube app, occasional iPlayer app problems and that annoying habit the EPG has of falling back to All Channels 15.2 is a massive improvement and gets the TiVo much closer to where it should be.

I think maybe the US TiVo users should be thanking Virgin Media and it's critical customer base for helping improve their future products. According to an article I read, a lot of the problems we all harp on about have been there a long time and have prevented the TiVo from working it's way into the living rooms of all but the most ardent geeks.

What I'm saying is, we should keep up the constructive criticism, because as Virgin Media become a proper company rather than a merged version of various regional cable providers it appears they are listening to their customers and ironing out flaws as they go with more efficiency.

As i got TiVo recently i am a getting "Your TiVo help guide" via email.

this picture is from part 3 of 4

If you look very closely you can see Play.com app in the Apps and Games Menu.

Can someone tell why that is there when it does not exist.

A good idea for you is to send one of your famed emails to Mr Berkett and ask him that question.:)

Because it is a Marketing mock-up, and they often bear little resemblance to reality.....

Do you like, have to reply to every post, even if it wasn't aimed at you and was just a fact? Go on, I dare you not to reply to this post.

Hope I am in the right place to make a query but is chaseplay (ie being able to watch a program from its start that has already started being recorded) a feature on the TIVO box, I have it on my DVD recorder but not sure how to access it on the TIVO if it is available.

Just select from My Shows while recording and it will start from the beginning :)

No.

Are you really going to forget to watch something you've forked out £15 for?
