With Cech out its certainly going to be interesting and the fact I'll be watching it in Amsterdam makes it even better ;)

Nahhhh, a bore draw will do me, or a score draw as long as Bosingwa scores (fantasy team) - Liverpool winning takes away from UTD winning. Last thing we need is Torres getting back into the groove. Not until Benitez gets the flick and we buy him anyway.

Was on the bus the other day and I overheard a conversation where the point being suggested is if Liverpool have another 'almost but not quite' season then a player of Torres' ability might get impatient and want to move to a club that consistantly wins trophies.....

Whereas that might be true I can honestly say I reckon there's more chance of Didier Dogbreath going a game without cheating than of the Scouse selling their top player (or joint top along with Gerrard) to United.

I'm not sure the club would stand in the way, but his kids are honourary scousers and it'd be cruel to take them to Manc-land :p:

If Torres went to United then to paraphrase Ricky Wilson, I'd predict a riot.

Liverpool had the best chance EVER to win the Prem last season, they wont win it this year, I think Benitez will go. Once he goes Torres will go. Who can afford him? We tried to sign the lad twice, so he knows we are serious.

Listen, if Owen can score the winner in a Manc Derby ANYTHING is possible. I would be going all out for Torres and Fabregas next season.

Some old fashioned hooliganism between Zenit St. Petersbourg and CSKA Moscow groups:

Top class from Tevez, scored against west ham a minute ago and put his hand up to their fans to basically apologise.

That's how you're supposed to do it Mr Adebayor ;)

The way i saw it, he'd already started running to celebrate and then changed his mind. The apology was for that, not for actually scoring against them.

Either way, much more class than Adebayor.

True. I expect Tevez wouldn't have celebrated even without the Adebayor incident happening.
