Mind you in tomorrow's papers Sven will probably have an excuse along the lines of "The pitch was wearing green,of course it was biassed toward Northern Ireland"

I don't know why Beckham was on the pitch but it certainly wasn't on merit- he should have played Cole or Richardson down the left and Wright-Phillips down the right, 4 man midfield with SG and FL in the middle, and Rooney up front with Owen because he is a RIGHT FOOTED STRIKER AND NOT A LEFT FOOTED MIDFIELDER :rolleyes:

And don't get me started on Ashley Cole :rolleyes:

Most of Beckham`s passes were good but a Team is only as good as the players in it!. Wright-Phillips played a great game i thought.:tu:
