No proper out and out goalscorer and that's crucial at any level.

Kompany was the difference in my opinion.

Yes, I was impressed with liverpool.

i had either Kompany or negredo as man of the match, probably Kompany shading it.

Both teams will be challenging, as long as suarez keeps fit, and out of trouble.

Hopefully man city buy some defenders soon, kolarov and lescott are poor.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window

I think that Spurs will be in trouble this season if they dont do something about Loris. So far he is conceding too many silly goals, and today is no different.

We now have someone up front with Soldado, which is bringing out his best with Adebayor. I don't know where Defoe is. But something has to happen.

I think we are goingto see a shock for Champions this year. I think that Liverpool will be tyop followed by M City. Arsenal will burn themself out and finish 4th with Chelsea in third place.

Spurs, well they will finish again outside the top four but compete again for the egg cup. Sheroowd is a young Harry, but he will be out of luck this year - possible FA Cup finalist.

You're down to 10 men 1-0 up and you get yourself a red by being last man? Erik Pieters can see Ben Arfa is going the other way and still brings him down. I really don't understand stoke. It's clear it's not the manager that trains them in rugby.

Arsenal home Sunday.

Arsenal as well. I did say Arsenal havent even clicked yet, even early form was blips of what the team is capable of. There hasnt been any top level consistency yet which is a scary thought.

On the buying front we all know a striker is needed but its tough. What could though aid Arsenal is the World Cup. Any player not featuring could be 'unsettled' by a bid. Having said all that Bendtner will want to feature at the World Cup, he hasn't exactly got a terrible record for Country so he could come good along with Pod coming back from injury.

As for Arsenal I think it's important to remember that they've only played 19 of the other 19 teams in the table and we need to wait until this easy run stops to see if they're really any good.

It just would be nice if the away side got a decision now and again Colin as its hard enough to win against sides like Man City and Chelsea as it is.:)

And suffice to say they will leap ahead soon as they have a much stronger squad depth wise.

There should have been TWO red cards at Arsenal today - typical Arsenal Cheating and getting away with nasty tackles.

I love Mourinho, he defended Ramires to the end of the world for his dive against WBA but today he's berating Suarez for doing the same thing. It's Suarez though, he does himself no favours.

Well done to Arsenal anyway, crap game all round and looked like a certain draw, iffy free kick for the goal but you never know with the walking yellow that is Tiote. As for Arthur talking about two dismissals, I have no idea what he's referring too, he's seeing something I'm not.

Cardiff owner Vincent Tan has informed the club's board that he prefers them to buy players with the number 8 in their birth date. (Metro)

Seriously you couldn't make this up.

Is that Arthur bloke real? Whenever I see him post, on whatever subject, it's just moan moan moan, especially where Arsenal are concerned. No doubt being a Spurs fan explains it somewhat, but it's comical. My mate sent me this earlier. It's a heat map of where Soldados goals are scored from.

Arrogant, superstitious, megalomaniac maybe but he isn't an idiot, you don't get to where he is and amass as much cash by being stupid. I heard the entire workforce at one of his factories simultaneously and unrehearsed or coerced broke into song about what a great Guy he is recently, wow, the man is a piece of work, change megalomaniac to egomaniac.

Ole has nothing to lose. If he keeps them up, he can walk away to another job. If he fails, his record won't be hurt, as everyone knows how crazy it is in cardiff

This exactly. He will have a decent squad already and will have money to spend as well. As you say, if it all goes wrong it will be easy to shift the blame to Tan. Apart from Tan, Cardiff is actually a decent club for him to get started in this league.
