Intel i7-7700K CPU, 8gigs of DDR4 and some Grizzly Kryonaut thermal paste...
Not for me, sadly, but the fiancee will love it.

Replaces an i5-2500K that's been overclocked for 6 years or so.

Joins a 1070Ti, an Asus mobo, and another 8gigs of the same make/model DDR4, among a ton of SSDs and such. (and a Kraken x62 water cooler).

As you know den my family is also big on cheese and tbh it's a easy and enjoyable night for me and hubby. No fluffing around baking, cooking, making sandwiches etc just lay the cheese, crackers and oatcakes out 30-40 minutes before calling everyone through to eat.

What I like about our cheese and wine nights is it's totally stress-free, very little mess and dishes to clean afterwards, and the big bonus is the kitchen remains relatively clean and tidy.

Afterwards, we can all retire into the living room and enjoy good conversation with our chosen drink.

Job done and everyone is happy :) The jobs a good one as hubby would say.

Ordered a Redmi Note 5 this morning as dropped my old phone at the weekend and a rug that's almost the same size as the living room. Had wooden flooring done last year as she didn't want a carpet but apparently now a rug that covers practically the whole thing will "make the room cosier and people will still see the nice flooring around the edges". I have no words.

I've decided to give a corner of our garden a makeover so we've bought 10 bags of shingle, and 3x1 meter edging stones. The garage is next so I've bought a new unit of steel shelving, still for me to assemble yet. Off now to paint the side of the house. :)

Button (battery) cell multi-pack in Lidl: 8xCR2032, 4xCR2016, and 12 more assorted smaller ones for £2.99

These things are normally stupid price. I need one CR2032 for the bathroom scales and one LR44 for my digital vernier gauge at the moment and they together would have cost more than £2.99 so the rest are effectively free. :)

Just getting the final bits and bobs for my youngest starting back school on Thursday.

Just bought my final item for my darling youngest as he is extremely fussy on what pens he uses, I managed to find a good deal IMO.

Honestly, he only uses certain pens, highlighters, etc and nothing else seems to do as he say's that these pens keep his work looking neat and tidy as they apparently write neat

Sorry about the snafu of posting it inline using the WYSIWYG editor but I can't do it without that - but when it pastes the image it looks ridiculously big, too.

I bought like several other pairs, returned a bunch of them as none of them are to my taste. I am very very picky when it comes to shoes / clothes.

Thank you darlin'. They only had one left in a size 6 so I got it and even though I am ordinarily a 6 they felt a little loose. They have one left in a 5 and they did throw me another voucher but I am not sure if I will get it or not.

I have bought maybe 30 to 40 other pairs in the last 3 months or so, so I might post some of them but then sadly the bandwidth on the site will break and the I will be known as the Amelda Marcos / dictating queen of the site.

Lol, you ass. :p

No, I was going to say, those definitely are not my legs - apparently mine are better. (A lot better lol, and longer).

Nah it was just the easiest way to get an image of them without using the attachment settings as the pictures have to be so small. Using the C&P format only works with the Wsgy editor but you have to take the off sets with the bugs in it / messes the spacing issues up so I'll toggle back and fro with what I bought - hopefully the re-sizing will not be too much of an issue.

Not because I am hot / cute and good looking (though that doesn't hurt, I am sure lol) but because he would finally be able to discipline someone from my side of the roses ; his people / side have always been on the losing end, so this would be a win for him, lol. New foil and cutter block for both my Braun electric razors off ebay. The older one (1508) the foil has gone and my newer one (3 series) one of the foil carriers keeps popping out. I think a bit of plastic has come away somewhere.

I already fixed this once when a plastic pillar broke inside that locates the foil carrier. Hopefully a new one will fix the issue.

£26 odd for both together with free postage. I can be patient.

In a lot of discomfort atm with mouth ulcers and gum inflammation and tbh I have never been in such discomfort before as the Hydrocortisone buccal tablets that my GP prescribed usually work fantastic when used alongside Corsodyl mouthwash but for some reason, this time around I'm just not getting the results.

Anyway, I called my dentist and he recommended Gengigel but I would need to ask the Pharmacist if both can be used together needless to say I went straight to Boots and the good news is I can use this gel 30 minutes after my prescribed medication I just need to make sure that the tablet is fully dissolved before applying the gel needless to say I bought it came home and applied it immediately and it has eased the discomfort slightly I'm pleased to say :)

More fine Italian and German meats than my belly can handle.

Brunswick Ham, Parma Ham (prosciutto), glazed and smoke turkey (that one may not be Italian), Iberian Ham, some glazed ham, carvery turkey (sliced), a mix of olives, hot peppers with garlic and cloves, some roasted peppers with mozzarella in them and some fresh quiche.

I left the bologna ; I would have put this in the "what did you eat" thread, but I don't plan on inflating helium style anytime soon.

Bits for my computer upgrade, beginning with a LGA1155 motherboard in a pile of junk and ending with a GTX1060 and a 16GB RAM kit
originally going to re-use my 8GB kit and GTX750Ti, but with the pretty much top 1155 CPU, decided it needed more to stretch it's legs and give a degree of future proofing

We've just adopted a 2yr Lurcher from Dog's Trust so
Collar, harness, car adaptor, leads (training and extendable), 15kg food, treats, bed, toys, fencing (little tyke can jump close to 1.8m).

I think there is some Great Dane in him, he is really tall, can easily eat of the table standing on all fours. That's our biggest challenge - teaching him that food not in his bowl isn't his. He is house trained though and good on lead.

Re: What have you just bought?

Wife has now decided she doesn't like dogs. He is a lovely animal but yesterday he nearly pulled our daughter over (she's not tiny) and is so much work. We have to keep him tied to something in different rooms just to prepare food and eat.

It's a pain on finances and us and the dog. I'd have rather not started but daughter has wanted a dog for 10 years so when bunnies died wife said we could have dog. The Trust pressured a bit with a limit of 7 days to make our minds on this dog who was and mostly is good on the lead and around people but it's our choice in the end.

I know it seems like we are a bit fickle but the background of dogs and daughter is too complex to discuss here and the dog really doesn't fit very well to our house.

1Kg of UK rump steak (5 steaks) from Lidl this morning for £9.99. They always do decent steaks.

Yes my Dad when we saw him the other day said their steaks were good.

Talking of Spider-Man Kabaal, I bought a spider spray to try and keep spiders out the house, not sure if it will be any use,
