I like linen but doesn't that need ironing? And can you get nice bright patterns (think Africa or Caribbean). No snakes or mushrooms or skulls ...

Great thing about linen is you don’t have to iron it although I generally iron the pillowcases. The duvet cover gets thrown in the tumble dryer with some wool dryer balls. The sheet and pillow cases go in separately to dry with dryer balls also

I normally cook Savoury Mince with minced pork, but Aldi has 2 packs of minced lamb cheaper than the pork. So we're having a posh mince today.

Lamb mince makes a nice curry with peas, finely chopped carrots and mint added. Great with breads as not to saucy.

A bit of punt on a bottle 'Rare Carbon Afnan' 100ml Parfum. Well it's a cheap enough gamble so mad not to.

You could drink it if you were desperate enough to ward off your DT's. Probably wouldn't taste as nice as it'll smell though.

Bought SWMBO an iPhone 15 and a protective case - her XR is giving up the ghost (back of the phone is shattered, with only the current protective* case holding it together)

*oh, the irony…

Dog beds
Dog leads
Dog collars
Dog harnesses
Dog fleeces
Basically Dog <insert option here>

Because Rossi doesn’t have above he gets them and because Rossi gets new it’s not fair to not get them for Chase

Apparently

A Samsung S24 plus as my OnePlus 7 Pro is failing and after the way OnePlus treated me when the back shattered after less then 24 hours I'll not be buying any of their products again.

Mrs G made me go 'mainstream' but I would have happily got something else. However, the 7 years of major Android upgrades is a plus for Samsung (and Google).
