Already they've picked up a lot more about its functionality than they ever did about the V+ box. Mum even managed to teach herself how to do the basics just by reading the leaflets that the installer left behind, so they're obviously well written as she's not very technical-minded.

I will second that , my parents have took to it which I was pretty surprised about.

Have you totally ignored every posting for the last month. We know that TiVo is able to do red button since the last update but it's not been activated yet. There is nothing new in that garbled message.

That is rude.

The way it was said could mean it is now ready and just needs to be put on the TiVo boxes.

Also someone else said red button will come with the update in Q1 2012

hi

even though this is correct information said in the above comment

virgin are still going to release it with the update in q1 2012

as been told by several members of staff in different departments

so my sources must be correct

http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/...ht/true#M36542

We know the Q1 2012 is in January going by what someone was told by Virgin techinal.

I will third that, I had TiVo this Tuesday afternoon, with no problems and excellent installation by the engineer!

I just have one question on live events, once you have purchased an event does it appear on channel 555 when the programme is about to start? The reason why I ask is there is no channel 0 on TiVo and at present this channel is saying I am not subscribed to it please ring 150:confused:

No offence but you start a lot of your post on various forums with "Check your facts before posting" which comes across very rude and unfriendly.

snippety snip snip

No, what is rude is you posting incoherent and muddled posts, and expecting others to decipher them.

If you want to get a message across, it needs to be clear and concise.

I agree with you. It was annoying not having the time available but I got round that by putting a clock next to it. My big problem is not knowing whether the box is on or off so sometimes when switching on with my Harmony it switches the box off.

The channel number would be a bit difficult as which one would you display as it has three tuners :D

Have to agree, nearly had to break out my universal translator to decipher the previous posts.
