So long as I trust the operator, the machanics and the mechanic I'll get aboard anything!
Think of it as getting on a fairground ride or a hovercraft or putting on roller skates.
You fly to the states, yes? 'tis the same thing but a bit more basic inside. And noisier. And no cabin staff.

If Mike Smith is the pilot?

Well a thrilling day out for me. Blood tests (5 vials of the stuff, I asked her if she was a distant relation to Dracula. She laughed.), an ECG, peak flow, MRSA swabs, temperature, blood pressure, and that was pretty much it.

Now to wait until next Wednesday when it happens. Looking forward to it. And looks like I'm going to be having the full general, with an injection of local at the base to help with pain relief once I wake up.

Five vials try 14 Mark as every time l go to London that's how many they do as l am part of the stem cell research patient team which is part of the heart science unit.

Hmm, well I'm up for a challenger as much as the next person but that would be above and beyond me.

You crack me up and have me in bits sometimes ;)

I've always fancied flying lessons. But I also have an irrational fear of flying.. So I end up confusing myself.

I'm feeling quite chilled out today. Which is nice :)

My whole right foot is in agony this morning. That's great - I can't usually feel my feet at all.

Excellent.
