PM me if I can help.

You need to install the apps not stream from a webpage.

#1stWorldProblems

As some are aware, I'm a paralegal specialising in personal injury as well as clinical negligence cases.

There is a difference between clinical negligence, and clinical complaints.

My employer specialises in and can help with the former. The NHS' own Patient Advisory Liaison Service deals with the latter.

Long waiting lists, NHS departments losing your notes, perceived nasty/arrogant/argumentative/ignorant NHS staff are all unfortunate and understandably annoying occurrences, but are not clinical negligence. No compensation is available or will be awarded for confirmed examples of these.

Also, to pursue a clinical negligence case the Law states it needs to be brought about within 3 years of the date you were made aware of something having gone wrong. This is not "company policy", neither is it "more proof that solicitors are in league with the NHS". It is the Law.

Finally, a Law firm can only take instructions from the Client, ie the person whose name will be on the compensation cheque. It doesn't matter if your partner "always deals with things for me". The only exceptions are when the Client is under 18, lacks mental capacity to deal with such issues and a Power of Attorney is in place or if the Client is deceased (in which case we deal ONLY with the next of kin or Executor).

The number of people who fail to grasp all this, despite having had it explained to them several times......

Somebody has brought in a company to pressure wash their driveway four doors down from our house.

So right when I'm trying to concentrate (as are many other others who are working from home) we have the monotonous hum of a petrol generator running for three and a bit hours. Then add to this they start putting flyers through peoples doors!!

Great to be alive to moan about it though ;)

My sister is also a Paralegal, but she specialises in family law, she has also been give the companies Despure Resolution which means she chases people who haven't paid their bill.

It does come in hand if I need any advise in other matters.

I've been furloughed until July 1st, but this date is flexible, it could be earlier or later.

I'm involved in the production of industrial digital print heads, so it is classed as an essential critical business luckily.

We're not talking the sort of print heads you find at home these things cost £100s - £1000s each.

Instructional videos on YouTube that contain a minute or two of unnecessary waffle before they tell you what you're looking for.

I've been looking at stretches and exercises specifically for my hip flexors so I had a look on YouTube. Just about all of them start off with some explaining what hip flexors are, what they're for, why it's important to warm them up etc....yes we know all that, just get to the point please....

Just covering their backsides in case of being sued I'm assuming.

I found some nice stretches for my ankle going direct to "medical" sites rather than Youtube but problems include having a chair that is high enough to actually achieve the exercises fully. I think demonstrator was short limbed.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8

Cheers but I was only using stretches as an example. Just about every video I’ve ever looked for to get instructions on how to do something wastes the first few minutes telling what, why etc which always seems to just be an opportunity for the person in the video to demonstrate how much of an “expert” they are. Don’t waste time showing us how the watch works, just tell us the time
