It should be a rule for developers that existing features should be kept. If they need to be changed to add flexibility, an option to use the old settings should be provided. Otherwise all you're doing is exchanging one set of problems for another which .

Tivo isnt V+ version 2 it is an entirely different product with different (and in my view far superior) features.

Just as v+ didnt have an eject tape button there are features Tivo doesnt need

I was talking about differences between 15.1 and 15.2 in the TiVo rather than differences between TiVo and V+ boxes. ;)

Let's see a picture of it sitting on or near your VM TiVo, or it didn't happen. ;)

Has anybody else noticed some HD channels are using less recording space. 1hr was about 8GB, now on Living, E4, FX, is about 5GB.Have they reduced the bit rate or changed the compression? I noticed these channels are using QAM 256 others 64 QAM dont know if they where already.

To me that is akin to saying you do not need opening windows in a car as you have air conditioning.

@virginmedia I was told on here that the BBC red button and ITV red button is coming before the end of the year. Is this still true ?
Quote:

@HDBoy2011 I know our team are working hard to make that happen, if we hear anything about a release date we'll let you know. BMc

So BBC red button and ITV red button could still come this year. Let's wait and see.
