They'd have been better with a pop-up message on Freeview Ch 101 saying they woukd get regional content from a certain date and may need to retune. As far as I know there was no pop-up message. |

However the channel remains unavailable from VMs Hemel headend, meaning Hemel & St. Albans can only get it on Freeview, as VM still refuse to supply it outside the M25 to the North of London. Customers in Watford have always had it, as it has always been available from the former Jones Cable headend in the town. |

Here is some Freeview information base on RAW information given to me by a Media Boy UK Source.

Unuse 24 hours slots: -Old GREAT! tv slot on LOCAL mux (Only in some areas where you can watch KMTV, Latest TV, Local TV, Notts TV, NVTV, Sheffield Live, That's TV (With Local News), GREAT! movies +1, GREAT! romance, RealityXtra and Tiny Pop.) That's TV do not have a licence to run That's Reality BUT has a new licence for That's Cinema.

DS Forum is reporting that Ideal World has "temporarily suspended broadcasting" and closed its website.

Sounds like it might be the end for Ideal World.
It does surprise me that there seems to be room for only one general TV shopping channel but maybe in the current internet-first world I shouldn't be surprised. |
