Or maybe the recent £3 pay rise for the BT Sport channels takes this into consideration too?? we'll see lol

Yup expected to be rolling out in final quater of this year 50mbs upgraded to 100mbs, 100mbs upgraded to 200mbs, 152mbs upgraded to 300mbs.

Laughable isn't it my parents are on 100mb and regularly only see speeds of 10-15mb if they are lucky especially at weekends and evenings and this is after so called work to improve congestion.

I honestly can't see the point of upgrades if they aren't capable of delivering current speeds at peak times to everyone , in my experience they also take an age to deal with congestion.

That's the thing...It's all well and good saying quoting these speeds, but can people actually get them? lol

Got wired connection to pc and check it regularly and it is usually between 154mbs and going to maximum of 162mbs download, the upload is usually around 13mbs.

Have been involved in the Sam Knows broadband speed test which has a box attached to my router and the speed on the results they send each month rarely drops below 152mbs,

There is an occasional blip but nothing to cause any problem, might just be lucky where I live in Bishopbriggs

I think the area you live does make a difference. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I am able to get a wireless speed of 50mb on my smartphone...I don't have anything wired into my router, but I guess that my speeds would be close to the 152mb that I am on.

THere are only 3 Xtra matches this evening - so perhaps the offering changes depending on the amount of games (up to 6)

Good point! I was just clarifying with MB what was showing on TiVo compared to his V Box.
