Premiership to Premiership signings are always absurd. I think paradoxically the home grown rule has made matters worse and Foreign players cheaper.

Jose Mourinho has wasted no time in trying to wind up Arsène Wenger by claiming Cesc Fabregas did not want to rejoin Arsenal ahead of moving to London rivals Chelsea.

Mourinho suggested he may have already done all his business. “We did our business in almost record time, “said Mourinho. “The market closes Aug 31 and we close our market on July 18. I don’t think there will be any more players. We are happy with what we have got.”

Lukaku's been going here, there and everywhere over the last few weeks. To Italy, Spain, Germany or back to Everton. If you believe the papers that is. A transfer one day, then a loan or a contract extension. Most of it's just lazy journalism and will get a lot worse, again, near the transfer deadline. Wait until your team announces any deal, or be prepared to pull your hair out and be disappointed time after time.
