Welll done NTL 300kbs which was around 280kbs download in now 976kbs on the 1mb connection here in Glasgow.



How easy was that, put in my user name and pass and bang it was done, fantastic and I thought 300kwas good web pages are just there with no wait.

Very happy here :) Just upgraded from 300k to 1mb.

I guess they won't hammer down on the caps if I don't abuse it, because I genuinely do only game and download now and again, it's mostly surfing.

Try the username part of your primary NTL e-mail account and it's associated password.

1st 128K took 359 ms = 365103 Bytes/sec = approx 3038 kbits/sec
2nd 128K took 360 ms = 364089 Bytes/sec = approx 3029 kbits/sec
3rd 128K took 344 ms = 381023 Bytes/sec = approx 3170 kbits/sec
4th 128K took 375 ms = 349525 Bytes/sec = approx 2908 kbits/sec

can someone please tell me if the above is good.....im on the 3mb

yesssssss

spoke to some vnice lady down in swansea (I think) @14:14, tried a reboot and a speedtest no joy :sad:

left it half an hour reboot and speedtest all OK now

I phoned answered straight away,asked for 3 mbit,he said it will be upgraded automatically,i said some people have it already,he said it will be upto the end of the month.Then he said you will receive a letter and an email about it.I have a samsung and live in the ex cable and wireless area,bromley.

When you people phoned did you select the broadband technical number?I may phone again later.

That what I got, I am in the Bromley area and I got a SACM and I am not happy about it at ALL.
