:( that's exactly why I deleted my series link months ago. Was kind of hoping that it would be sorted by now.

The third tuner light doesn't light up when you are playing 'catchup' with live TV.

It's just another little thing to get used to with the TIVO (the wife's not to keen on the catch up issue). Have to keep remembering that the V+ also had three tuners, with the third tuner (although not able to record per se) only being used for playback while recording two programs or allowing catchup whilst recording two programs.

It's going to take a while...........

Ahhh, I see what you mean. The three lights are purely recording lights which by there very nature only turn on when a programme is being recorded.

Give it a couple of weeks and TiVo will become instinctive whilst you look back and wonder how you ever coped with the V+ box! :D

On a more serious note though, the way that the tuners are implemented on TiVo allows the user much more flexibility. That can only be a good thing in my eyes.

A little trick i got from the Tivo Community Forum was to set the series link on BBC One which only has showing over night when it is BBC News 24 and set it to only keep at most three episodes.

The old Youtube app has now gone.

A login option is now badly needed on the new Youtube app.

That's by far the most useful thing you've posted in about one hundred posts. Keep it up!

At least with Click you have the option to watch it on iPlayer instead.

I have a theory about Click. Even though it's broadcast on BBC ONE HD it looks like SD upscaled to HD before broadcast. If that's true, it's really <expletive deleted> to have a show about cutting edge tech not in HD when (for example) some random comedy show is.

That's going to tick a lot of people off. Having both available was by far the better option considering how low on features the new one is.

Of that we can agree.

They could, at least, have held on to the old app until more functionality was added to the new one. This is very disappointing indeed.

Change to create an illusion of progress!

Yeah... I figure both YouTube apps being available was a mistake, but a beneficial mistake. They should have just left it alone until a better version of the new YouTube app was available, which has all the missing features from the old one incorporated and doesn't fail to load videos when that annoying VM promo video which I'm sure everybody hates doesn't play properly.

That awful promo thing really angers me especially as the new YouTube app is a step backwards.

Some people are blaming Google for the lack of functionally in the new app but on all other platforms YouTube has most functions included.

Let's hope so!:erm:

Apart from initially using it after it first appeared I have given up on it. I post a lot of my family and other videos to YouTube and now cannot access them on Tivo.:Yikes:

Luckily I have Apple TV and it is prefect on there.:cleader:

When the Cisco V HD boxes have the Tivo software sometime next year. Will multiroom streaming work on the Cisco V HD box ?
