Virgin Media Ireland are to open a new sports channel (and several more).
I wonder if they will be added to the UK service? http://www.todayfm.com/mobile/index.php?id=25594 As Premier Sports was not sold recently, I wonder if they will be taking that over and rebranding it?? |

Theoretically, it should work for me as I don't watch sport, so more budget for other things. But it doesn't. The BBC should cater for all tastes and that includes sports fans. Pay TV has hijacked too many sports that should have stayed free to air. |
Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news
The dedicated sports channels cover the sports properly PB which BBC lost the art of doing properly a long time ago.

better presenters, better analysts, better commentary if we're talking about how it would be better on sky sports where they could offer 24/7 coverage i'd agree with you but only due to the fact sky have dedicated channels etc |

But you were talking about sports. And since, with your approval, it's disappearing from FTA channels, what is your alternative source for sport? |
