You are right (about the 3 tuners), but it would be good if TIVO could stop recordings and then start recordings on the hour to avoid clashes as some programes aren't repeated, but hopefully if iplayer issue is sorted out, it shouldn't be to much of an issue.

I was hoping to stop using my freeview recorder, but because of this clashing issue - looks like it still has a job.

You can adjust the padding to 0 either side to prevent clipping. I'm having to do that manually now, but don't have any major problems.

Ok, the way to deal with possible clashes is to make the programmes that are not reapeated a higher priority, the ones that are repeated a lower priority. This will mean that TiVo will always record the one-off show and reschedule the repeated one ;)

Cheers, I'll try that. I realise I'm a newbie here with regards to TIVO, so all tips greatfully received :D .

Now to suss out how to prioritise correctly........

TIVO Epg wrong , Xmas 24+1 showing Christmas in Wonderland 12.00 , Sky+ app says 12 Dogs of Christmas which appears to be correct.

Program clipping can be disabled, and I believe if you do that TiVo will record a repeat showing of the lower priority program if available. It's Home -> Help & Settings -> Settings -> Recordings -> Overlap Protection -> No, cancel the lower priority programme to do that.

Digiguide also says Christmas in Wonderland, either it's a last minute change or the Sky+ app may be wrong?

I can assure you ,its not Christmas in Wonderland its The 12 dogs of Christmas as the Sky+ app says so it looks like digiguide is also wrong , maybe a late change.

I think a lot of people feel that way... I know I do. It would make sense for VM to get this feature fully enabled ASAP if they want to make the most of the subscriber boom and the initial interest that still surrounds the TiVo. It won't last forever, no matter how many amusing little adverts they make with Marc Warren in them!

Sorry looks like you are correct Digiguide was updated shortly after I posted, it would appear that Movies 24 have released they're December schedule as Digigide has more than one hundred changes for December, so if you have something set to record it probably wont record.

This will work well, but it really shouldn't be this difficult. It surely can't be that hard to make it drop the end padding of one program, and the start padding of the next one as the V+ did to avoid a clash. I think it clips the last 2 mins of a the end of a program and keeps the start padding of the subsequent program at the moment?
