A total of 31 European clubs send representatives to Copenhagen to watch Denmark v Bulgaria. Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham in attendance. No doubts watching Christian Eriksen among others..

1. Thought it might be interesting to show how different presentation of same numbers can give different impression, e.g. PL distributions

2. The Premier League distributes £189m (15%) of its annual revenue (£1.3bn) outside the Premier League. Yay.
https://www.cableforum.co.uk/images/...03/2.jpg:large

3. But half (£91m) is Parachute Payments (-> imbalance in Championship) & only £99m (8%) pure external payments. Boo.
https://www.cableforum.co.uk/images/...03/3.jpg:large

4. Since current TV deal started, external payments grew 31%, nearly twice 17% growth in distrib'n to PL clubs. Yay.
https://www.cableforum.co.uk/images/...03/4.jpg:large

5. But most of revenue growth since current TV deal started went to PL clubs (£137m) with just £23m externally. Boo.
https://www.cableforum.co.uk/images/...03/5.jpg:large

6. See how easy it is? Caveat emptor (or something like that).

OK, maybe not that interesting, but it is an “interlull”

If Man Utd win vs Sunderland on Saturday they'll be the first team in English top-flight history to win 25 of their opening 30 games.

But we're still **** apparently :)

Man utd are a shadow of their former selves but then so are just about every other big club in the league, had van persie gone abroad like arsenal should've insisted on utd would be drowning in the sea of innocuousness with the rest of the league.
