ITV is understood to have won rights to cover fixtures including the Cheltenham Festival, Grand National, the Derby and Royal Ascot, from January 2017.
Channel 4, which has broadcast racing for more than 30 years, will show 90 days of racing in 2016, concluding with the Challow Hurdle meeting at Newbury on 31 December. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/horse-racing/35213104 |

http://corporate.uktv.co.uk/news/art...omeback-fight/ "We are quickly establishing UKTV as a network able to handle attention-grabbing live events, from the Python's last ever performance - Monty Python Live (Mostly) for Gold through Really's Halloween spectacular Most Haunted Live to Dave's ratings success, the Red Bull Soapbox Race. Our ambition continues to grow in terms of the variety and quality of our programming and appointment to view TV remains at the top of our wish list." "We are increasingly stretching our offering to Dave viewers, bringing them programmes which tap into the news agenda, such as last year's election special The Pub Landlord vs Nigel Farage. I'm thrilled to be giving our viewers a ringside seat to this hotly-anticipated boxing match and, with Dave's own spin on the event, helping to show the sport in a brand new light." |

Putting it on Dave gives more people access, surely not a bad thing? |
Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news
Sorry but certain channels like Dave and several others like Yesterday quite clearly have a certain audience and have always had that but when you start putting boxing on one channel and garden programmes on the other then in my opinion they have quite clearly have not any idea of how to run a channel to its stated remit as they have simply lost the plot in my humble opinion.
