Sainsburys have a 25% off wine offer this week (purely coincidental to the tax change next week of course!).

I pity the poor delivery driver struggling up the drive with my crates :D

When spending £15+ on a bottle 44p doesn't make a big difference. Does have a bigger impact on the £5 vinegar some sellers push.

And when they reduce Mrs G's favourite from £12 to £9 and then offer the 25% on top it's a deal too good to miss. We've still got about 35 bottles left but will stock up if the double deal is on tomorrow when we go.

Well I bought a Hamster, today, my first pet in 35 years.

I've called him Chewie, and left him to settle in for a for a few days before thinking about handling him.

The pet shop suggested a dry bath with him to allow him to crawl over me and get my smell.

Well when they drop the price of Spiced Rum count me in.

Mind you they did drop the price of Johnny Walker Black Label by £10, so I got 3 bottles.
