once you set your profile to the mouse itself you do not need the software. I have had the old G502 original version for years so used to it

Mine seem to have a mind of its own. The G Hub just resets and changes the tracking sensitivity DPI constantly. I ain't alone with this problem either. The only way I can get around it is by not having variable DPI settings or macos and just have the one setting only.

Edit - I see you said 'plus' but Amazon list both models as 'plus' and 'lightspeed' so maybe not as cheap as I thought.

I do not use the G Hub I just set the mouse up how I want save it to the onboard memory and that is it. No need for the G Hub anymore

I got it off ebay brand new from Cash Converters of all places for £100 paypal pay in 3 hahaha

The difference is the X which is the new model
