Same here. Loading very slowly. Its as if its trying to load too many things on the page at once.

loads ok here at work, but websense blocks the ads, which might make a difference, if I remember I will try again, when I get home.

Re: [Merged] Promote your own website

thanks for the input ;) I've been on the phone and messenger to numerous friends and family all over the place, about 20+ people... all of them have different specs lowest spec being a amd 850mhz with 4mb gfx, 128mb ram and dialup modem... the highest spec being my nephews amd 64bit, 2gb ram, ati 9800xt 256mb gfx, and 10mb braodband. I got them to empty their browsers cache first, and they have all told me that my pages loaded normally. using either msie, firefox and opera with no problems what-so-ever. saying this, I have had a few problems sometimes when using firefox, images loading slow etc... but not too slow as to cause problems. and this was a problem just with my firefox, because when accessed thru another browser it loaded ok.

I also have the enuff sight hosted on the ntl servers using my free 55mb space, but as you can see by visiting it here, my page isnt that great. buttons missing etc... I have no idea why tho, cos I uploaded the same files that are on my main hosts server. once again thnx for the feedback cheers :tu:

[EDIT]Thanks, I can fully recommend AdMuncher as one of the best ad blockers and popup stoppers out there! give it a trial.

The testcard was so useful for setting up TVs and video recorders that I had a three-hour tape of it recorded for the times it wasn't being transmitted. Used it to set up convergence (early colour sets), picture size/shape, centring, colour tweaking. On video recorders: Tape guides and all sorts of other things. There was a pattern generator and a special test tape that could also be used but the final test I though best was how the picture held up on the testcard.

Sigh ...gone are the days but thanks for the reminder :)

Hi all.

Some of you may know that CoffeeCup.com are doing a promotion on their web software to celebrate their 10th year in business.

They have asked me, as a user of their software, if I would like to offer visitors to my site a 20% discount on any number of orders.

Firstly may I say, that this is not an affilliate programme and I do not get any money in payment for doing this. I have recieved something but am going to donate it to the Forum Team for use in their future competitions because they have allowed me to post here.

You can find details of the discount at:-
http://www.freebits.co.uk/coffeecup.html

It is in a way of promoting my site, but it is also a way of offering members of this forum a discount, the discount cannot be found anywhere on Coffeecup website.

I have met some nice people on here and had some fun, I hope to have more fun in the future.

Thankyou for your support.
