unknown at time of posting on what way happen to Together TV on SDN - Move to a new unuse slot* or close.
*SDN will still have two broadcasting slot free after Wednesday.

Or not as the QVC Beauty / QVC Style capacity shares have moved from COM 6 (Arqiva) to COM 4 (SDN).

The QVC Channels moves was not reveal before hand.

Also SDN do have a free slot as when ITV's SDN do find a buyer for Together TV will close or move back to COM6 using Together TV +1 slot.

NOTE: Together TV is listed as a community benefit society and SDN has given them a 24 hour slot for nothing.

All other networks do a same thing with Together TV.

No but I did hint a couple of post back that there were services waiting to transfer from Arqiva.

When Freeview launched, after the collapse of On Digital and before the licence change that allowed BBC B to operate on commercial terms, BBC services were split between BBC A and the new BBC B (and SDN). The Community Channel was also carried on BBC B, as a charity / community service that was allowed under the BBC's PSB licence. With the introduction of HD, BBC services on BBC B were squeezed onto BBC A alongside its existing services. There wasn't enough room for the Community Channel and since then it has been allowed to operate on any free capacity available on the commercial multiplexes. As you suggest, it does get squeezed out whenever commercial channels are willing to pay for the slot it has been using.

Look like QVC deal with COM6 was up on May 1st.

As QVC Beauty / QVC Style is only broadcasting on SDN/COM4 now.

Re: Freeview changes

Within the last week or so BBC FOUR has reactivated the HD / SD switch, which was disabled shortly after Channel List Management was first activated.

BBC FOUR (SD) LCN 9 CLM 614
BBC FOUR HD LCN 106 CLM 9

Adjusting for BBC Scotland using channels 24 and 108 in Scotland, the position there should be:

BBC FOUR (SD) LCN 24 CLM 614
BBC FOUR HD LCN 108 CLM 24

Freeview Play devices only.

Why would anything happen?

I know I'm busier elsewhere these days but I didn't think I was that out of the loop.

Freeview add or move channels on the last Wednesday of the Month but I did forgot that May this year ends on a Wednesday.

Plus Freeview has a SDN and COM6 slot free at time of posting.

There doesn't seem to be much demand at the moment, which isn't really surprising considering the state of the economy.

Re: Freeview changes

The only things that should be renewed are the L-MUX franchises. At least they have some content. The local city channels are well past their use by date.

Re: Freeview changes
