Re: Broadband Hardware Trial 2015
Has the trial ended then, since they seem to be giving out the modem to new customers anyway.
Still waiting for my email. --------------------- Never mind got a response from Jen on the VM forum. The trial does seem to have ended. They had a problem getting hardware out to people. Though she said those effect will still get the new hardware and full tech support when needed. I just wanted the new hardware to be honest as the Shub2 wireless is crap. Just hope they do send them out. |

You may be in the 3rd or 4th trial batch, whenever that happens. |

Re: Broadband Hardware Trial 2015
I think the confusion here is that part one is over hence they should be merging the two trial forums soon, but the trial itself is still going

Re: Broadband Hardware Trial 2015
So been to a slow speed issue today with a hub 3.0. I got 200meg on my note phone but I moved the hub to another location for wifi and could only get 6meg, is there any issues with slow speeds after a reboot?

[QUOTE=jb66;35807164]Talking of trials, anyone have any updated info on VM's FTTP trials? There were at least 2 or 3 in some villages and a town, names escape me right at the moment.

Re: Broadband Hardware Trial 2015
4 Attachment(s)
Is this the hub, but I had this installed yesterday, as I was previously with BT (using their Infinity Broadband) and the Virgin-Media guy said it was a new model that is currently being trialed by a "select few" and also some new customers as well, and apparently I'm one of them...!
If so I've not had any issues, albeit it's still less than 24hours since it was installed, apart from when the initial installation was being activated by the engineer as the codes on the box he scanned weren't recognised so he had to call in and get confirmation, he then re-scanned it and then it was recognised. Within fifteen minutes the hub and my TV were up and running perfectly. Just found this "review" online.. [same hub] http://www.uswitch.com/broadband/new...early_preview/ |
