My parents have an install for TIVO in the morning but they say theyve had no confirmation or call and no money has been added to their account , whats the best way of cofirming the appointment ?

How do you get a list up of the channels being buffered ?

Press the info button and on the left of the box scroll down to the 3x record icons, in there it will show you the other 2 channels that are bing buffered and you can actually select them to watch :)
