Not sure if this is the right thread, but it's the nearest to how I feel - not happy, but proud of, and humbled by, those who sacrificed themselves for others.

Went to the 9/11 Memorial site this morning - really amazing what they have done there.

Very moving and so emotional - I cannot even begin to describe how I felt reading the names of those who died, especially the First Responders, who ran in when most others were running out.

This must be really emotional. I remember when we went there a good few years ago. We went into the chuch nearby & there was a 10 minute service which was very emotional. We were all given a small prayer that I keep in my purse. Going to work & not coming home that day was just unbearable for people.

Just got out of NY before it shuts down for the blizzard/storm - we will be driving down from NJ to Pennsylvania (around 100 miles) just ahead of the snow (hopefully). There is around two inches of snow in Summit, but the roads are clear.

Setting off in in around half an hour.

Just make sure you have a safe journey no matter how long it takes.

I have just been on the phone to the regional director of UKIP and he has as good as asked if after seeing how it works if I would be as interested in opening a UKIP office in Nuneaton as we have no candidate at all. He also mentioned Mays council elections.

I would not have a clue where to start. I do feel I should do something real instead of debating it on forums like this which at the end of the day holds no real meaning so who knows :)

Just contact your local political party and tell them you want to join their party as l am sure you will be welcomed with open arms as all political parties are looking for new members.
