Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news
I note that we still haven't got the BT Showcase channel. Does anyone know what the delay is all about and when we will be able to pick it up on VM?

Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news
As far as I understand it we get BT freeview on channel 548 for FTA matches, showcase is reserved for freeview

I think it will only broadcast when there is FTA, it's not 24 hours per say AFAIK

548 carried the Man Utd game last week on VM - BT have not yet announced the next 'free' game which will be on 15 or 16 Sept.

Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news
Looks as if BT are going to show (as I predicted ) the first pick CL game on BT Sport Europe and second pick on BT Sport 2, so two games in HD for Virgin Media and Sky users
Interestingly the Showcase game is Wednesday again (may be a regular thing) and on both days there is a game on BT Sport Extra 1 meaning BT Sport lite will get at least one game per night. This what what was quoted on digital spy Full schedule: Tuesday September 15: Paris Saint-Germain v Malmo - 7.30pm (BT Sport Extra 3) Tuesday September 15: Real Madrid v Shakhtar Donetsk - 7.30pm (BT Sport Extra 1) Tuesday September 15: Wolfsburg v CSKA Moscow - 7.30pm (BT Sport Extra 4) Tuesday September 15: PSV v Manchester United - 7.30pm (BT Sport 2) Tuesday September 15: Galatasaray v Atletico Madrid - 7.30pm (BT Sport Extra 5) Tuesday September 15: Benfica v Astana - 7.30pm (BT Sport Extra 6) Tuesday September 15: Manchester City v Juventus - 7.30pm (BT Sport Europe / BT Sport Ultra HD) Tuesday September 15: Sevilla v Borussia Monchengladbach - 7.30pm (BT Sport Extra 2) Wednesday September 16: Bayer Leverkusen v BATE Borisov - 7.30pm (BT Sport Extra 5) Wednesday September 16: Roma v Barcelona - 7.30pm (BT Sport Extra 1/BT Sport Showcase) Wednesday September 16: Dinamo Zagreb v Arsenal - 7.30pm (BT Sport Europe) Wednesday September 16: Olympiakos v Bayern Munich - 7.30pm (BT Sport Extra 2) Wednesday September 16: Dynamo Kyiv v Porto - 7.30pm (BT Sport Extra 4) Wednesday September 16: Chelsea v Maccabi Tel-Aviv - 7.30pm (BT Sport 2) Wednesday September 16: Valencia v Zenit - 7.30pm (BT Sport Extra 3) Wednesday September 16: Gent v Lyon - 7.30pm (BT Sport Extra 6) |
