Meanwhile Eden Hazard is talking in France so we may know where he'll move in the next 10 or so minutes. In all likelihood it won't be today however.

Yup. He has just said he doesn't know yet. Move along, yet another chapter in the Hazard road show.

Montpellier have won Ligue 1. Outstanding achievement. Probably the least suspected winner of all the major leagues in Europe. This is a smallish team, mid-table at best, that have beaten the likes of PSG to the title.

As for Hazard I suspect this will drag long into the Summer. He, or his agents, will try and play Chelsea, United and City against each other and maybe entertain bids from Madrid. Expect teasing quotes every few days from the player and United to pull out as the wage demands prove excessive.

That site seems to imply United were interested in RVP as well.

Has no one mentioned the stunning result in the Italian cup final, Napoli beat previously unbeaten Juventus 2-0.

The great one has spoken:

"It is possible that Chelsea's arrival at the negotiation table will delay things, as nothing is done," he told Canal+ after Lille's 4-1 victory against Nancy on Sunday.

"My agent has met with Manchester and with Chelsea. They both give good offers and are both great clubs. I don't know. It's not been finalised yet."

I take it when he says Manchester he means city?

I think the major talking points of the close season will be of Tottenham.

Daniel Levy will keep to his word and NO ONE will be leaving, you cannot buy success.

Roman thinks he can buy cups etc, and City feel the same. Tottenham are a growing club and next season will surprise everyone.

A rumour going round now is that Roman is prepared to offer Harry Rednapp £400.000 per WEEK, to manage Chelsea, is he mad.
