But reported on here over the weekend says that Arabic Hafla was no longer testing.

We have been told today that Arabic Hafla IS still testing.

Also We have post any news on more channel testing on both Cable Forum and Media Boy Blog.

I think the Cable Forum needs to crowd-fund you a TV with DTC built in so you can check directly what channels are testing. :)

The colour TV licence still costs more than a black and white licence and I can't remember the last householder I knew with a black and white TV!

I don't get your point, lol

Are you saying the colour TV licence shouldn't cost more, or there shouldn't even be a licence for black & white tvs?

Sorry, maybe I'm being an idiot :D

Hi, what I mean is that extra is still charged for what have been standard services for a long time. So extra is charged for colour TV licences v black and white licences although colour has been the standard for 40 years. So don't expect a premium for HD to go anytime soon judging by this! Sprry for any obscurity. :)

I agree mate, that's why I ditched my Virgin Tv package, switched to Now Tv streaming for my premium content, best moved I made and saved a small fortune as well.

Worth noting that the monochrome licence is actually the TV licence with a colour supplement added from 1/1/68 for those with colour sets.
