If it's not coming soon why is it a 'do not post' order? Is it that they don't want us to know that nothing is coming soon? This doesn't make sense.

And what information was lifted on Saturday and Monday? Was it 1 above?

Indeed but many feel we are now at that price ceiling Andrew for what we are getting so my advice to them for the future is don't get too greedy as sooner rather then later Virgin and other pay TV companies might be in for a rude shock as more customers then ever start to desert them.

A) My Virgin Source told me not to reveal the name of that "Something not coming to Virgin Media" online.
B) Info that was lifted was the news of an new app for TiVo viewers that will launch later this year.

I thought we had reached it some time ago but but I was proved wrong. The latest thing has been upping line rental substantially. I hope Vodafone's entry into the market helps keep prices down but the amalgamation of O2 and 3 should see a rise in mobile phone tarriffs as per the experience in Austria. Glad to see there is a potential new app. Just hope it's Amazon Prime!

So, if I understood correctly, your source has asked you not to name the channel (Sky Atlantic) that will not be coming to virgin anytime soon.

If so then MB my friend I think you been had

I thought he was for new cloud based app that was coming to TiVo?

I mentioned this on another thread (maybe over on the VM forums) so the app will allow you to:

"Watch your recorded programmes from your TiVo box"

Does this mean MRS restrictions will also be removed so all channels can be steamed between TiVo's? Seems odd that the broadcasters would allow unrestricted streaming via the app which is surely less secure than TiVo to TiVo streaming?

Either that or the same channels that are permitted for MRS will only work for watching on the app
