Well as the old saying goes there are many ways in time to watch some series which are on Sky Atlantic.

Agreed, Den. We've bought each other the Game of Thrones box set for our wedding anniversary this month. Boardwalk Empire for Christmas!

Yes we had the same idea as family members said to us what do you want for Christmas last year and some of them were quite happy as it meant they did not have to think too hard on what to buy us.:)

It's certainly resolved a problem at no extra cost! It's also brought home to me how few programmes are on the channel that I want to see. A bit like Sky 1 really.

Yes the Season 1-4 Blu Ray boxsets of Game of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire retail at about £60 each and then you have to purchase Season 5 when it gets a release date , bargain !!!!!!!!!!!!:D

Yes, well that's Blu Ray! The generosity of my relations looking for Christmas present ideas doesn't extend that far!

Imagine how good sky1 would be old boy if they merged sky atlantic programmes and sky 1. it'd be a must see channel! rather than this current arrangement of some decent shows on each channel and the rest utter tat.

I suppose its greed though for advertisement prices by having more channels than neccessary?

The channels are aimed at completely different demographics , you could put this argument up for many channels including the PSB channels. Most channels these days have filler junk during daytime and early evening with an emphasis of putting key shows on in primetime.

Of course you then still need to purchase Season 4 and 5 costing even more.;)
