I was just thinking how great the norway keeper was, keeping his team in the game

Then the defence loses a soft goal

Didn't realise that, one competitive home defeat in 50 years for Brazil. Don't see that changing tonight...

GOALLLL......

Yes, though they don't play many games at home. They played a lot of games on the road, mainly because of so many players in European leagues

What are your thoughts on that Dave?.

you be getting a very good keeper if it happens Den mate must mean Pepe Reina is leaving Liverpool Simon Mignolet is a great shot stopper his weakness was crosses but improved on that a bit season just finished sure he get better still

theres a lot of inefficiency at City because you have people who run the club willing to throw money . teams hold out for premiums because they know they will get it from City.

Exactly. So you cannot therefore judge the team because £Xm has been spent if not all that money is down to actual value of the talent but "inefficiencies" as you call it.

Therefore, it is stupid when people go on and on saying "for the money they've spent" etc....

They should be saying, "for the squad they have".

And in the case of the squad, there are defects as I highlighted.

I agree.

On to another subject, joe kinnear for newcastle? Seems strange (unless it is old boys network, wanting to give him a job because he can't find one anywhere else)

Not sure how it helps newcastle

He's dead isn't he, bit like joe's career and Joe himself if he's silly enough to take another job...

Maybe they did it to annoy pardew, so he would quit

I hope we get another of his interviews where he goes off on one...

Opening lines:

Joe Kinnear: Which one is Simon Bird
Simon Bird: Me
Joe Kinnear: You're a c***
Simon Bird: Thank you

Arsenal priority a top cf. Higuain 1st choice & keen. #Afc also want 1 holding + 1 attacking mdf. No df unless any leave. Not in for Rooney.

My choices would be obviously Higuain, Fellaini and Grenier. I'm not bothered about Rooney tbh, theres talent on the market.
