FOS or the revival,

Been to the FOS and it's a great time.. :) Take a small earphone radio with you as they have all the broadcast audio on a radio freq. The rally stages are excellent viewing and if you like being next to a F1 car with the engine singing then it's the place to be :)

Going to the FOS with the Brother-in-law (got a tent and all that). He`s been before quite a few years back and said it was an awesome experience noise wise. Seriously looking forward to it, we were going to go to Silverstone again but he reckons Goodwood is much better value for money!

Cheers for the radio tip, my dog and bone has a built in radio so i should be able to use that :D

Roll on the 2nd of July :hyper:

Can I suggest if you're going with others to take something like a PMR, saves staying as a group and as it is such a long way from rally stage/finish line to the start line you might find it hard to find people.. Also some PMR's have built in FM radios so handy for those without a phone radio :p:

Good advice Kymmy :tu: i bought them some walkie talkies for when they go skiing, little things that look like kids toys but apparently they do work up to ~2 miles!
There to go on the list (good thing he`s got a Volvo) :D

Seriously looking froward to the classics, Audi quattro, Lotus Sunbeam, Opel Mantra..........:Sprint:

Going into lap 40 of the Turkish Grand Prix - the lap Red Bull drivers Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel collided - team boss Christian Horner instructed Webber's race engineer Ciaron Pilbeam to tell Webber to allow Vettel past. Pilbeam could not bring himself to pass the message on. (Autosport magazine)

I didn't think team orders were allowed?

Autosport is usually a pretty reliable source and this story has been mentioned on the James allen Blog. James is pretty well conencted so I give it credit;)

But Kymmy, as I am often reminded, rumours and gossip should always be believed, because if they weren't the truth the papers wouldn't be allowed to print them. ;)

And as I'm often reminded a person who believes in gossip and rumours is often only half right..

I can't honestly see Christian being stupid enough to say anything like that to anyone in public also Ciaron isn't stupid enough to risk his job either.

Strange how this autosport story goes against what is gossip

That still does not absolve Vettel's actions on the track. He still drove across the front of Webber when there was no need to.

Never said it did.. Vettel expected Webber to give way but for gawd sake they were both level on Championship points at that time so no way would Webber do that. If it had been anyone else apart from Webber Vettel would have backed off or gone wide at that point

Sorry Kymmy, I wasn't suggesting that you did. I was referring to Horner's remarks (or perhaps Matt Beer's and Adam Cooper's interpretation of them) relating to the incident.

Red Bull's run of 7 successive pole positions is broken by Hamilton. Huzzah!

Yep but not suprising as the red bulls were on the harder compound tyres

What's more worrying is Jenson's times
