It's being worked on - there's a sev.1 case open with Cisco. :Yikes:

The problem is coming and going in waves - so sometimes it will seem fine, others it'll be.... problematic.

The ntlworld homepage problem is linked to this also.

According to the service status page, accessing ntlworld.com was resolved over 12 hours ago!

Whatever they thought they had done to resolve the problem obviously didn't work.

At this moment in time, the only problem, according to the service status page, is with email, even though I still can't get on to ntlworld.com.

pop mail is still down for me. Been intermittent since Thursday.

Webmail is very very slow to login, but does eventually work.

Ditto. This is ridiculous. Is NTL: Business affected I wonder - they have a service level agreement paying out, I believe, if service is disrupted for more than six hours. For us Home users for whom email is not allegedly integral to the service though..... :(

What's happening?

I'm in Detroit and had great difficulty getting my e-mails or even accessing the service status page to try and find out what is going on for the last few days.

Can you ask for compensation in a prolonged situation?

This is getting beyond a joke, it's off again. It's been on off all the week ever since they started their latest round of "System load balancing".

I asked a former NTL director if there was any link between everything going tits up and network upgrades. He sniggered and agreed. This was a man who could not wait to get the hell out of NTL and was all but begging me to play down his shameful past when publicising his appointment elsewhere!!

I see that Service Status has put this current issue as a new problem. Nice try NTL but WE ARE NOT THAT STUPID. This is the same sodding problem that's been plaguing us for days and the couple of hours you suggest it was working problem - guess what, wrong! It was working intermittently which is not the same.
