Re: Whats the last restaurant you dined at?

In Brighton today....

Subway for lunch, a footlong a garlic cheese steak, sweet corn, red onions, peppers. I brought half of it home. I'll have it tomorrow for lunch.

Kambis for dinner. Starter hummus, thin flat bread, olives, main I had a sultani (lamb fillet and kofta) with chips and house salad. For desert persian tea and baklava. Pricing is sensible in there. Highly recommended. It's a Lebanese restaurant. Lovely.

Me and the wife went for dinner (it was her birthday), to St Luke's and the winged Ox in Glasgow's Gallowgate. It's a former church with the main building used for gigs and weddings etc.

Food is always outstanding. I had slow roasted pork belly smothered in Jack Daniels sauce and fries. She had Fish and Chips.

Gifto in Southall, London. I ordered a mixed grill expecting great things but it was over powering with cumin. I then ordered a lamb bhuna to make up for the mixed grill and a pakora basket. It was ok. Pricing a little over the average but all in all ok not great but hey ho you win some you lose some.

Colquhoun's, right on the bank of Loch Lomond (Luss). Amazing food and comes with the most amazing views. Was quite an experience.

De Baga in Headingley last night.

I had Chingaari Kebab (Red hot flame coloured kebabs special in lucknowi style Lamb mince, crushed pepper, corn tossed bell peppers, whole spice, served with lightly spiced cheese sauce) for starters, followed by NH66 Mutton Curry (National Highway 66, commonly referred to as NH66 connects people along western coast of India, parallel to Western Ghats. Inspired by the “Dhabas” on NH66, slow cooked wholesome mutton drizzled with robust sauce), with a Roasted Garlic Cheese Naan.

Washed down by a couple of pints of Bombay IPA.
