He’s a side note, he jumped on the grooming gangs bandwagon after it had already been exposed.

One statement that did amuse me, was that that his victimisation was due to his class.

A commentator (can’t remember who) said Douglas Murray says the exact same things that Tommy Robinson does, but in a posh accent, and so gets away with it.

And there is a grain of truth in that observation.

Murray is sensible enough to skirt on the side of legality, i.e not being in contempt of court.

Police want to question far-right activist Tommy Robinson after an alleged assault at St Pancras railway station in London.

Video footage emerged on social media showing Robinson walking back and forth near a motionless man lying on the floor at the station. The clip does not show how the man ended up on the floor.

The British Transport Police (BTP) said officers had found a man on Monday evening with "serious but non-life-threatening injuries". It added that a 42-year-old male suspect had boarded a flight out of the country in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Example of biased reporting and comments.
Why was he at St Pancras station? Could it have been in order to take a train to Gatwick airport? He would've had to have his passport on him at the time to fly out just a few hours later.

It is very easy to hate Tommy for his political views and so on but remember why he was in prison. He openly reported on the noncing gangs and tried to bring it out into the public eye and ended up in prison for it. Yet now there is enquiries and it is open knowledge that there is a lot of sexual assaults at the hands of illegal and legal immigrants to this country. It is happening all the time and it sickens me

He was jailed for contempt of court. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c704eedkqkvo

That month, a video went viral showing how Jamal Hijazi, a Syrian in West Yorkshire, had been attacked by another teenager at school.

Yaxley-Lennon then posted his own response to one million Facebook followers alleging that his investigation had established that Mr Hijazi was a violent thug, a claim that was untrue.

The Yaxley-Lennon video spread widely and the Syrian teenager and his family received death threats.

Three years later, Mr Hijazi won £100,000 in damages when the High Court ruled Yaxley-Lennon’s claims against him had amounted to defamation.

The court imposed an injunction on Yaxley-Lennon, banning him from making the false claims again.
Making false claims about someone, getting a court order to stop doing it and doing it anyway. Not grooming gangs.

you wrongly assumed I meant that time haha

In May 2018, Yaxley-Lennon live-streamed a video outside Leeds Crown Court that contained information in breach of reporting restrictions. He also approached defendants and told his followers to “harass them”.

Ah ok, I assumed that one because that's when he was in the longest and the most recent.

Even so, these people were already in court, and he was charged with contempt of court for broadcasting parts of the case that were under restriction. Risking the trial itself. It's not like he was revealing anything.

Did you actually watch any of the reports at the time? I did and he did reveal a lot of other stuff about grooming gangs while he was doing it. In fact a lot of what he was saying has now been proven to be true with all the press the situation and the wanted enquiry. He was not just reporting on that trial at the time he was highlighting how common it was and is

If you did not actually follow at the time how can you say what you did ?

He may well have 'revealed' other things, but we're talking about what he went to prison for which was contempt of court by breaking restrictions on reporting details from an ongoing trial. This, by definition, isn't 'new' information as it was presented in court.

There were quite a few reporters revealing information about grooming gangs around then, and none of them ended up in prison. There are a lot of people who were treated badly by the grooming gangs scandal, from the victims themselves to whistleblowers and journalists who were ignored. Tommy Robinson isn't one of them.

By doing what, in your opinion, was the right thing, could have led to the defendants being released because he prejudiced the trial - not sure that’s "the right thing"…

Was he "doing the right thing" here?

Police investigating an alleged assault at St Pancras station in London are looking to bring a 42-year-old man into custody.

British Transport Police said the suspect, from Bedfordshire, boarded a flight out of the country in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Officers were called to the scene just after 8.40pm on Monday following reports of an assault.

A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening...

… It comes after footage emerged purporting to show right-wing activist Tommy Robinson walking back and forth next to a man lying motionless at St Pancras.

A concerned onlooker calls for help before Robinson shouts: "You saw him. He came at me bruv, you saw that, he came at me".

The video does not show the moment the man was allegedly attacked.

Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has since reposted a tweet which claimed he acted in self-defence.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 8.40pm on Monday July 28 to reports of an assault at St Pancras International Rail Station, NW1.

"We sent an ambulance crew to the scene and treated a man before taking him to a major trauma centre."

Yaxley Lennon doesn't report on any white rapists and abusers. Indeed there are many among his fans.
Tommy Robinson (pretend name)is probably sitting on a sun lounger setting up his next GoFundMe so the racists gullibles can donate.
