Yes, it was far better than the first season.

Yes, a big improvement. Far more going on in each episode. The first season, especially the first half of the first season, suffered from a lack of ideas, far too few things spun out for far too long to fill an hour of TV. There’s a sense of momentum now.

That’s been a long time coming

Yeah. I am really looking forward to it and gutted it is the last season. I understand why they are doing it but there is so much more story to tell and room to grow.

I think they turned it round nicely after a shaky start. Most of season 1 was very badly paced - glacially slow in parts and just generally too little happening in each episode. I was slightly surprised it got renewed for season 2 but second time out was much better and I’m very glad they’re doing a third. Also though it’s good that they’ve said in advance that this is where it ends, so we’re not going to end up with an unresolved cliffhanger at the end of it all.

I'll have to rewatch season 2 shortly as I can't actually remember what happened. It was so long ago.

i can remember most of it and the key things that happened but i think I am going to try and squeeze it again because I enjoy it that much that I want to make sure I haven't forgotten anything which would ruin the next season.

Says me. ;)

I choose my words carefully - a good cliffhanger conclusion to a story leaves the reader/viewer with things to think about but not feeling robbed, as if it was obviously set up for a continuation that then never happened. So if there is a cliffhanger it won’t be “unresolved” in that sense. We know this is the final season, so it will have been crafted for the viewer to engage with and resolve for themselves.

On the other hand they may decide to tie the story up neatly with no cliffhanger at all. In that case we’re still free to speculate about what the characters might do next.

:D

I was expecting it around December, there were 20 months between Season 1 & Season 2, and 23 months this time around.

The first season was very meh ... the second was so much better, I'm looking forward to Season 3.

Season 3 has turned out to be one of the best of the lot - really came out of it's shell - some of the episodes and graphical showing of space, very much reminded me of Star Wars, shame it has come to an end, or has it? ;)

Re: Hawkeye

Lost in Space is quite a revelation, even better than season 2 and so far beyond season 1 it’s hard to see them as the same show. Somehow there’s a classic Star Wars aesthetic about it, notably Empire Strikes. It also helps that Christopher Lennertz has allowed his entire score to be influenced by John Williams rather than just shoehorning in a couple of bars of the original theme.

Agreed Chris.
