It's got a little out of hand, I think. But I suppose it's a debate. Totally nothing to do with VirginMedia!. It's certainly touched a few nerves.

And behind the religious battle are dark spiritual forces

Quote:

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

But not that ridiculous that you chose to not only enter it, but comment too (not that your ironic contribution added anything meaningful or pleasant to the conversation).

You may wish to avoid threads that you believe to be ridiculous in the future, as opposed to trying to derail them.

With hindsight it may have been put into the wrong section, i'm sure that admin will move it if they think this is necessary.

I don't think it's got out of hand, I've found the legitimate responses interesting to read.

With a bit of foresight you may have realised that it has nothing whatsoever to do with the VM TV service. Even the title of your thread was a big clue for you.

What sanctimonious rudeness.

If the placement of this thread affects you to any serious degree, I suggest that you go through the correct channels instead of resorting to this sort of behaviour.

Religious threads always do and are an absolute hiding to nothing, Nick, which is why I tend to not get involved in any depth these days beyond to be impassive and state facts or purely reference my own experience.

Bless...

one opinion piece in the Grauniad is your evidence.

Anyhow, the Israeli-Palestine conflict is, at best, a local insurrection* - not really comparable to WW1, WW2, Vietnam, Korea, etc; but I'm sure you knew that....

*Estimated deaths at around 10,000 = http://israelipalestinian.procon.org...ourceID=000639

I've got some spare tablets if you want them... ;)

This thread was indeed created to stimulate discussion of the subject in hand.

The negative way that you have interpreted it is probably a reflection of your attitude to life in general, or, more likely, a further attempt to disrupt my contributions to this forum.

Do you actually have anything useful, interesting or positive to contribute?

Enough of this turpitude.

let he without sin cast the first stone, I do however feel that you are not that person to throw

anyway I shall not feed you any further, I do still think that

a) this thread on this forum is utter ridiculous
b) what people do is between them, the law of the land and their ISP
c) conduct is between you and your religion

It is you that is guilty of repeatedly trying to stir things up, your past posts to various members are available for all those who are interested enough to be able to check.

If you believe that this thread is "ridiculous", they why did you not only enter it, but comment not once, not twice, but three times.

The normal reaction when people see a thread that they have no interest in is to skim past it, not enter it and attempt to cause problems like you do.

Your last two comments are on topic; we seem to be getting somewhere at last.

After indicating that you were going to withdraw from this discussion, you have contributed a fourth time to a thread that you believe to be "ridiculous"; the vast majority of which has been nothing more than rudeness.

If you have a problem with the content or placement of this thread, you have been advised to go through the correct channels.

You won't do this though, because it is clear that this harassment is not borne out of any true concern about the above, but out of a desire to discriminate against minority groups*.

*Note to other readers: Some years ago after I 'came out' as being disabled, I faced problems from a minority of members. It appears that this individual is the only one not prepared to move forward with a positive outlook.
