Dolby Digital 5.1 over HDMI. Like other devices do.

The output of my Tivo, BD player and PC go via an HDMI switch to an AV amp. As far as I know the SKY boxes only support stereo and need a separate optical connector for the 5.1 sound. That would be messy...
