I have booked day off on 29th so i can get it, im too impatient. I will ring my local O2 store tomorrow and see what they say. Cant do it today as wont be home in time before they close

Nobody in the UK will have it available before the 30th because the official release date is the 30th.

The UK release date is 1 day after the rest of the world

You can order it from Samsung store in UK and get it on 29th so that is incorrect. O2 have also told me i can collect it from store on 29th.

Not true,

The official UK date is the 30th, However those that order direct from Samsung at their store in Westfield will be able to pick up after 7pm on the 29th and most online places will deliver pre orders on the 30th, and most other stores will allow pick up of orders on the 30th as well.

Looks like Samsung have decided to copy Apple one step too far... They've copied their couldn't source the right colour backs quick enough product launch fail as well.

Not quiet. There are not apparent delays with the white model, however its seems that there has been a large quality issue with the pebble blue model and the hyper glaze coating has been coming off a bit too easily.

Still expecting my white 16Gb to arrive tomorrow though.

There's delays with one colour because they can't get the plastics on the back right, in this case not the glaze but apparently they sent the wrong designs to the manufacturer.

Whatever's the cause, the blue model is on hold indefinitely because they couldn't get the back right, pretty much the same thing happened with the white iPhone. They "expect" a few weeks but retailers are saying "we have no concrete information"

May not get the S3 till Thursday now because @O2 not getting delivery till then even thou it comes out tomorrow. #Stupid. I rang them up.
