Re: General Smallworld Discussion
It'd be interesting to know what will happen to the Smallworld area carriage agreements if the extra channels are removed from ex Smallworld customers, as opposed to being added to the VM line up.
Maybe another reason (apart from the technical side eg new headend) for the delay in integrating Smallworld customers into the VM branding was to let these agreements run their course?? You'd have thought that both parties would have been keen to widen the reach of said channels to the full network, as opposed to taking them off a very small part of the network!? |
Re: General Smallworld Discussion
Smallworld customers have been gradually moving over to VM since August so presumably it has all been sorted out.

Re: General Smallworld Discussion
If that is what it's doing, then yes I expect it has. Virgin Media wouldn't want to mix things up at all - which is why the transfer has been to specifically disconnect Smallworld services and the reconnect to Virgin Media services.

Re: General Smallworld Discussion
Any news on what is the take up for Smallworld viewers moving over to Virgin Media?
Base on the storys I have seen on Digital Spy it look like the numbers will be under 40%. http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showt...1939265&page=4 |

Re: General Smallworld Discussion
Due to Virgin Media axing the Smallworld brand I think it time to close this thread.
For the latest on new channels coming to Virgin Media see "Coming Soon to Virgin TV" threads. |
