Well non-internet connected Sky , Freesat will only have 5 live streams ( getting reduced to 1 after the olympics ) non-internet connected Freeview will only have 1 stream.

Wrong Skys STB is Internet connected as are some freesat boxes and Youview is freeview with Internet connectivity granted Skys STB can't run apps in its current form but Youview almost certainly will.

So really only Tivo , Youview and internet Connected TVs will have 24 live streams.

Yes but it will use your own broadband connection unlike Tivo which will use the 10mb dedicated broadband connection :)

All i was saying is that Tivo will use it's own 10MB broadband connection for the BBC Apps.

Well for some people the Olympics will pass them by l suspect but l have always been a big sports fan so l will be glued to the action and having 24 streams will give us a great choice from which to pick what we want to watch.
