thats the real explanation but he wont put that as he doesnt want to get kicked out of his superhub club

Mine works and has done since install like the vast majority of the ones out their with customers, just because a few have had issues does not mean that the majority are having the same issues.

Maybe this majority aren't having issues because they have their own router connected as well, like you do.
And if your basing your theory on the number of calls received then that's a false statement anyway. I had loads of problems with mine, yet never rang tech support over it. The only thing I did was email the CEO
As most people will do a Google search with their superhub problems and come across this forum telling them either what services to turn off, or how to connect their own router then they won't call tech support

The majority wouldn't know how to set up their own router with the super hub.

Only a relatively small minority ever look on forums or even know of their existence, so that is incorrect to say the least.

... and maybe only a small minority regard problems from kit which can be (temporarily) fixed by power cycling it as a problem worth the hassle of braving VM TS for....

If you have an issue you call up as you may even get to speak to me or a colleague in Liverpool.

I'd be happy to, but by 8am I'm on my way to work; after 8pm, when I might be able to call, what are my chances of speaking to someone in Liverpool?
