The vast majority of people don't know what TIVO is .

Isn't it where you can record the repeats?

Yeah I think the First Run only option is causing some problems at the moment , I'm sure it will get sorted.

It seems like the main date has changed as now VM are saying that you will be contacted by the week commencing the 11/4. So just sit tight and wait i can guess that it is hard :erm:

Sounds like what governments do – release an OTT idea, garner a lot of publicity with the adverse reaction and then announce the real plan, which sounds so much better. That said DF’s info does make it all sound more reasonable. I will be away for the week commencing 11/4 but, depending upon the details and timescales etc., I will certainly consider renting a TiVo when I return.

I have changed from 'considering it' to 'Yes' I think its a goodish price now. I wish I could remember what I paid for the V+ when it came out. I have a feeling that it wasnt too much but not trivial which makes TIVO with its 1TB not too bad a bargain.

I was always planning to so this is just an unexpected bonus. Makes up a bit for the ammount of time I have had to wait.

As DF has stated if you pre-regd you will get a email on the week commencing 11/4 you will be able to get it at £149 and no install fee plus £3pm.
If you had not pre-regd you will still be able to get it at the above price as you are a existing customer ( but this will be at a later date ).

Free install only in April.

No you do not have to reg again. Did you receive the other emails that they sent the E.G Dear Dean email?

Also have a look at the first post on this thread where i quoted what DF posted.
