Still nothing.

Phoned today sky world + ESPN + HD Pack is 71.25 a month  best they could do was free sports and movies for two months.

Have you ever had Sky before?

They seemingly reserve the best offers for those that haven't.

I dont watch any US sport so wouldnt need it in HD, i think VM could do with providing us with English sport channels in HD First (SSHD 3&4).

Mate I hope your right, it seems ridiculous to me that the channel with the most HD content in Europe is not available on VM.

I have just received a reply, but it was from Rob Poderoso not Cindy Rose. Doesn't sound very promising to me :(

Many thanks for your email and for taking the time to write to Virgin Media.

It's great to hear that you're a big fan of US sports and enjoy watching ESPN America and ESPN. It's also nice to hear you enjoy watching ITV4 and would like to watch both channels in HD.

We hope you're enjoying watching all the HD channels we launched last year, including BBC1 HD, ITV1 HD and ESPN HD

It's really helpful to hear comments from customers like you as it helps us develop our future thinking and product roadmap. However, it's not always possible for us to carry every channel due to capacity and commercial considerations but we constantly review and evolve the channels we make available.

In the meantime, we hope you continue to enjoy watching ESPN America and the other US sports available in high definition on ESPN HD, including: NBA, NHL and NFL Monday Night Football in addition to other sports in high definition including the UEFA Champions League on ITV1 HD.

Thanks again for your feedback.

Kind regards
Rob

Not great at all well I have decided to wait till the new season of NHL and EPL to start no point moving now a paying loads of money with no sport on during the summer. So to some it up they have till September to at least get ESPN America HD, ITV HD's and Good Food HD. I do have a 3D telly but I'm not moving for just 1 3D channel though by then I expect sky to have 3 or 4 lol

Agreed, I shall hold fire until August, if there are no signs of more Hd channels, I shall be strongly considering going to sky, a lot will depend if infinity BB is here by then.

Yeh but it means no VOD as we know it.

No a game changer for someone who loves US sport.

If it wasn't for TiVo I would be looking at the dark side and not worry about the VOD.

However those evil VM people are giving me free TiVo on Friday so I am stuck with them for another year :mad::mad::mad:
