Re: Going to hotel with no WiFi
Some hope now as I had a bottle of water in my bag and the water spilled on my mobile and also forgot to bring my Ditital camera with me as well. But at least I have my lappy working and thats a bonus :D

I think I'ts gone beyond that as the glass has a crack on it but the waitress took it apart and put it into the hottest part of the kitchen. Hopefully it will have dryed out by the morning but not holding out much hope as nearly half a bottle of water went on it before I noticed it

I'm not that pushed just annoyed about it. I have a spare one at home. I'l just get Jo to rebook the therapy for me for when I get home and have the stiff glass of water with strong ice as well :D

Re: Going to hotel with no WiFi
best way to get a phone back that's been wet - put it in a jar with rice, seal the lid and leave it in a warm place for a day or so. Rice is hydroscopic - it will suck the moisture out of the phone.
The battery however may be toast. |

Re: Going to hotel with no WiFi
Thanks Gazan. Also It's great to be home as well with the ordinary internet as I found the dongle very tepmermental and kept going on and of. I was staring to lose patience with it. I had two bars on it so would that have anything to do with it. Next time that I do go away I just couldn't be bothered putting myself throgh that again trying to get it to keep getting it to connect
