I honestly thought we'd seen the last of him in parliament, having said that this time round he may not find it as simple as he thinks.

He's perhaps talking about another Keir Hardie, the opportunist attention seeker who is happy to make a tit of himself on national TV, rather than the more famous Keir Hardie, one of the founding Fathers of the Labour Party. :D

I'd agree that Keir Hardie could be turning in his grave looking down on some of the things new Labour have done, but I think he'd be spinning even faster at the comparison with Gorgeous George.;)

Fortunately he's extremely unlikely to win. He probably only picked on that area as he thinks it has the best demographic for him however it doesn't change that he's been so busy being on TV and doing his thing for Palestine that he's totally forgotten he's supposed to be an MP looking after his constituents.
